Platform rules and user obligations

1. About These Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Rescue Angel mobile applications, website, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”) operated by Rescue Angel Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. By creating an account, accessing, or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
2. The Platform
Rescue Angel is an on-demand marketplace that connects customers experiencing vehicle breakdowns with independent roadside assistance providers. We facilitate the connection, payment, and communication between customers and providers. • We are not a roadside assistance provider. The service is performed by independent providers. • We are not an employer of providers or drivers. • We are not an insurance company. Providers are required to hold their own public liability insurance.
3. Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You may delete your account at any time via the app settings. Account deletion is permanent. All active jobs must be completed or cancelled before deletion.
4. Provider Terms
Providers are subject to the separate Provider Agreement in addition to these Terms. • Independent contractor status: Providers and their drivers are independent contractors, not employees of Rescue Angel. • Booking Fee: Rescue Angel charges a booking fee on each completed job. See the Provider Agreement for how it applies. • Payouts: Processed via Stripe Connect per completed job, released once the job clears its dispute window. • Insurance: Providers must maintain valid public liability insurance at all times while active on the Platform. • Location tracking: By going online or accepting a job, you (and your drivers) consent to Rescue Angel collecting your device's GPS location while you are online and on an active job — to match and dispatch you to nearby requests, show your live position to the customer and your fleet owner, and calculate accurate ETAs. Collection stops when you go offline or close the app, and we do not build a continuous movement history. See Section 3 of the Privacy Policy for full detail.
5. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to: • Provide false, misleading, or inaccurate information. • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose. • Circumvent the Platform’s payment system. • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users. • Use fake GPS locations or automated tools to manipulate the Platform. • Share your account credentials with others.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law: • Rescue Angel is not liable for the quality, safety, legality, or timeliness of services provided by independent providers. • Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount you paid through the Platform in the 12 months preceding the claim. • Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
7. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer in the United States, Australia, or Canada, you retain any mandatory consumer protections available under the laws of your jurisdiction.
